Finnish Artificial Intelligence Society (FAIS), founded in 1986, represents the field of AI internationally as the official member society of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI) in Finland. FAIS supports and promotes the advancement of public knowledge, education, research and applications of AI in Finland.
FAIS invites AI researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts at large in Finland to join the society as members. All members of FAIS are automatically members of EurAI. For information on how join FAIS, see here.

The second FAIS general assembly of 2020 will take place Monday December 28 at 17:00.
Due to the current pandemic, the general assembly will be held online. The detailed agenda is available here.
Registration to the assembly is mandatory and requires FAIS membership. Please register to the event by Saturday December 26 17:00 using this form.
Details on how to join the meeting will be sent after the registration deadline to registered members.
The General Assembly of EurAI elected as board new members Carles Sierra, Holger Hoos and Fredrik Heintz. Continuing on the board are Steven Schockaert, Torsten Schaub and Catholijn Jonker. The new Board selected Carles Sierra as the new President of EurAI and Holger Hoos as Vice-President. Fredrik Heintz will act as Chair of the subcommittee on European Community.
