Finnish Artificial Intelligence Society (FAIS), founded in 1986, represents the field of AI internationally as the official member society of the European Association for Artificial Intelligence (EurAI) in Finland. FAIS supports and promotes the advancement of public knowledge, education, research and applications of AI in Finland.
FAIS invites AI researchers, practitioners, and enthusiasts at large in Finland to join the society as members. All members of FAIS are automatically members of EurAI. For information on how join FAIS, see here.
Finnish Artificial Intelligence Society FAIS calls for nominations from the Finnish AI research community for new EurAI Fellows. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be a current member of FAIS. Usually only individuals who have made contributions to AI for a decade or more after receiving their PhD (or are at an equivalent career stage) will be selected. The first FAIS general assembly of 2021 will take place Wednesday April 7 at 17:00.
