Themes of SCAI 2006
Genetic Algorithms
This meeting will bring together researchers interested in genetic algorithms and related topics of evolutionary computing. Evolutionary Computing is the study of computational systems that use ideas and get inspiration from biological systems and their evolution. It is a fastgrowing interdisciplinary field in which a range of techniques and methods are studied for dealing with large, complex, and dynamic problems. The SCAI GA Workshop will showcase a wide range of topics in evolutionary computing including, but not restricted to:
- Evolutionary Computation
- Quantum Computation
- Artificial Life
- Artificial Ant Systems
- Artificial Immune Systems
- Self-Organising Systems
- Emergent Behaviours
- Applications to Real-World Problems
The workshop emphasises original theories and novel applications of evolutionary computing. Researchers, practitioners and students from academia and industry are invited to submit their original papers to this workshop.
