Digital Games

Digital Games played by people can be divided into two groups: closed games like chess and open games like first-person shooter (FPS) games. The set of possible action to be taken by a player (a human or a non-player character NPC) while playing is bounded the first group which is not true for the latter. Both groups include many interesting intellectual computational problems like solution searching, opponent modeling, general tactic planning, or adaptive AI in dynamic games. Some of the problems are join for the groups while many are not.

The workshop brings together people sharing common interest in computational intelligence in digital games. They are invited to submit their original theoretical, experimental, or survey papers to this workshop. In addition to regular surveys, also more list like surveys presenting open problems around a suitable chosen area with each problem annotated are welcomed.
